I have been watching natural births on youtube for inspiration and to help me prepare...I just came across this gem of a comment:

Did you do an? orgasmic birth? I saw you reaching to rub your clitoris alotlimegreenbacon

@limegreenbacon No, I was feeling for the head and removing bodily fluids from the area. That was not? my clitoris.

    OK, it's definitely interesting, but I'm still not buying it, I've had a child and I'm not sure that if I "expected pleasure instead of pain" that it would be enough to "transform my feelings."  But, hey to each their own!  Are you going this route? ;)

    We are using hypnobirthing and The Bradley Method....no orgasm method for us. I don't really buy the whole orgasmic birth...but hey! if it happens for some women more power to them!

    BAHAH, omg. I don't even know what to say...

    I have the same fascination as you though suddenly. This whole being pregnant thing has made me feel very empowered and womanly...like I can *totally* do this. Birth videos are so inspiring...even if DH still thinks they are "gross"

    Re: Orgasmic births - I didn't know there was a method to this?? In Ina May's book she reported that about 20% of women (in a homebirth setting) had a spontaneous orgasmic birth.? And it?isn't a sexual orgasm, it is more of an empowerment through total relaxation.? If I'm lucky enough to be one of the few who get one I'll be overjoyed! ? Anyway, about the OP... I love watching natural birth videos on YT as well and there are ALWAYS stupid comments.? Someone always asks why the women are always naked.? Like anyone would want to be dressed during 15+ hours of labor!? And someone else always comments about how it's so gross.? WHY are you watching a birth video if you think it's gross?!?
