  I come from a land of a summer Christmas time so I LOVE the cold winter Christmas. This weekend will be tree weekend, get it up in time for the ER later next week. Need to get festive to keep the mind off this IVF and we are in our new house so looking forward to our first "new" Christmas.

  Multiple ectopics, 2 failed IVF's
  IVF #1: Did not get to ET, embies all failed PGD (major chromosomal defects)
  IVF #2: We have 2 chromosomally perfect embies as a result of PGD (Boy/Girl) 1 failed the thaw (Girl) Transferred 1, yet ended as a c/p
  Thought it was the end of our TTC Journey 6/20/2012
  SHOCK BFP 9/28/2012: IT'S A BOY! and everything is normal !!!!!!

  Little A born 38w 2d on 05/23/13 and is a true miracle for this IF Vet!

  Ditto Reilly, DH and I chopped down our tree last weekend. Everything is up except exterior lights and my Christmas village. We kicked off the Christmas movies on Sunday night by watching Elf.

  25 August Lap revealed Endo, adhesions and blocked left tube
  September 2011: Femara + IUI #4 (IUI #1 post endo removal) =BFFN
  November: IVF #1: Stims started 11/16 ER 11/25 (7R, 5F) ET 11/30 Transferred 2 beautiful expanding blastocysts +HPT 12/6/11
  Beta #1 at 9dp5dt=153! Beta #2 at 16dp5dt= 4009!
  Ultrasound 12/30 showed one beautiful heartbeat! EDD 17 August, 2012

  Hazel Evelyn arrived 10 August, 2012!

  Surprise natural BFP March 2015. M/C at 5 weeks

  I haven't yet, but I definitely will be decorating. I love Christmas time and even though I thought I'd be celebrating differently by this time in my life, I'm still going to try and enjoy the holidays with DH.

  we're doing minimal decorations, but something for sure.  We have Christmas dinner at our house with both sets of parents so it would be a little weird if we didn't have anything at all.  This year the holidays seem to be much easier than last year.

  I'm not as motivated this year, esp since I can't lift the heavy boxes and have no energy but we are decorating for sure. It is just going very sloooooooow. Maybe we should pip our trees for cheer.

  My Husband and I are about to try our second transfer on 12-12 the day after our second wedding anniversary.  Needless to say we are trying to stay hopeful.  We are still doing the tree and lights but other then that were not.  I also told him I will not be home while he decorates the tree.  Last year I sat on the floor and cried bc many of my ornaments are babies first christmas from when I was born.  I just cant do it again.

  Married 12-11-09//last day of birth control 12-10-09; Tried for 15 months using OPK (failed)// 2 failed Clomid cycles Began IVF process July 2011//Transferred 1 embryo was PG for two days October 2011 FET 12-12-11-waiting till Christmas night to listen to voicemail to find out if it worked

  Yup.  We have an RE appointment tomorrow, and after that, Christmas decorating is on!  DH hates to decorate, so it'll just be me, but I'm okay with that.  I love my tree and lights, and almost did without last year.  Never again!  It's the only normalcy I have at Christmas time.

  I am determined to not let IF ruin my holidays. So, yes we already decorated and I have done most of my shopping. I love Christmas and am trying to not ruin it.

  I love decorating for Christmas! I plan on getting everything up this weekend.

  After 3 years of infertility we were blessed with twin girls through private infant adoption.
