Where to get Melatonin?

Our pedi suggested we try Melatonin for sleep issues with DS. The problem is, my DH and I have looked everywhere and can't find it! Everything we find is 3 or 5 mg and always in pill form. Anyone know where I can find it in smaller doses and in liquid form?

I purchased the liquid form on Amazon. We give DS 1ml at night.

We get it at GNC in 1 mg dissolvable pills. DD1 has used it for some time and it really helps.

Do not buy "natural" melatonin as it carries a slight risk of BSE because it's made from desicated aminal brains.

I found liquid melatonin at Walgreens.

ETA: I believe I also saw 1mg tablets at Walmart.

swansons.com also you can crush melatonin and only use a small amount of it- sprinkle the powder on applesauce, pb, yougurt, ect. (if you want to control how much your giving cut the pill in 1/4 then only crush 1/4 at a time...) I always use the smallest amount at a time- like a 1/4 pill at a time.
