If you own a trampoline is it insured?

I do not own a trampoline so I did not know it required extra insurance.  If you are an owner have you insured your trampoline?  Do you limit its use to family due to liability?

    My SIL who works in insurance says that some companies will cancel your homeowners policy if they know you have one.

    ETA: Same SIL still has one.

    We don't have a trampoline. My inlaws wanted to buy one for us and we said no way due to the huge liability issues.

    I don't understand why people own trampolines. They are so dangerous, such a liability, and such an eyesore.

    We have one and no, we have not insured it.  We do not allow anyone on it except our kids.
