So I am getting m/s at night (no throwing up, just really bad nausea). It kept me up for a good part of the night last night. I found a sheet from my OB's office last time that recommends taking vitamin B6 and a Unisom tablet at night to help with m/s. Has anyone tried this and does it work? I'm getting desperate. I'm already drinking peppermint tea, gingerale and eating gingersnaps and nothing seems to help.

Re: M/S question
My doctor also rec'd benadryl...I think just to knock you out. I never tried the B6, but I know it worked for a lot of people.
My doctor actually recommended green grapes. And OMG did they work. And ginger flavored things didn't work for me, I had to take straight ginger.

I used some morning sickness tea and some ginger gum that helped a little.
I hope it goes away soon, it sucks.
Lemons helped me too (I couldn't drink water without vomiting otherwise), along with a small amount of coke. And pickles, lots of pickles. I ate at least one spear about 30 min before each meal for about 5 weeks b/c for some reason it helped settle my stomach enough that I could get something down for dinner. My M/S was the worst at night too - I ended up getting on Zofran b/c I just couldn't find anything that would consistently work.
My diet during the worst time (about 5 wks) was so boring - I had potato everything for every meal. Baked potato, potato soup, french fries, mashed potatoes. And for breakfast I could only eat plain grits. I couldn't eat veggies, chicken/turkey or anything sweet. Oh, and the smell of ginger and peppermint still makes me sick to my stomach =(.
