Anyone use Target brand of similac sensitive?

If you use the up&up version of similac sensitive how do you like it? Did your LO adjust well to it? I started it yesterday and LO is acting a little different. It took her forever to fall asleep Last night. She kept fussing in her crib. Not really crying just squirming around. Wondering if her belly was bothering her. Should I wait a couple more days to Let her system adjust?

Re: Anyone use Target brand of similac sensitive?

  • I was just lurking around but yes, I had used it with my son and he adjusted well to it. I actually found it mixed a little bit better than the Similac version. My friend had switched too and was brave enough to try them and said they tasted the same. Maybe it was just an off night in general? I would give it a few more days.

  • We were told by our pedi that the store brand formulas don't have the same nutrients as the others. I don't know if it would affect their behavior, but that's what we were told!

Your pedi is wrong-they actually compare the nutrients side by side on each canister of formula, and I checked the name brand just to make sure that they weren't conveniently leaving something out.

We are using the Target brand of Gentlese-and when we switched we did it slowly.  .5 oz of target 3.5 of enfamil then 1 oz of target 3 oz of enfamil, etc.  It took us a while, but the mixing agents can be different so it was easier on their stomachs.  Our two love the target brand, and at almost half the price of the name brand, it is totally worth it.

What is the Target Brand of Gentlease?  We have Lily on that now and we're looking to start Target brand when she starts solids in a couple months?  We would do Sams, but the nearest one is 30mins away.

It is the purple canister-the Partially Hydrolyzed Infant Formula.  I've also heard good things about the Kirkland-from Costco-we just don't have one nearby!
