DH let me buy the Michael Buble Christmas CD, which I love. It's been on repeat all day! And...he keeps trying to give me another present early. This happens every year for Christmas and my birthday...He gets so excited and can't hold it in until then. As much as I love presents I am making him wait to give it to me. I have to have some surprises on Christmas morning!
On another note, what is everyone getting their H/SO's for Christmas? I'm thinking a ladder or a sledge hammer. Haha, it's what he wants, but not that much fun to buy!
Re: Early Christmas presents...
I'm just like your DH! In the last 7 years, I've only waited to give DH his gift on Christmas one time. The only reason I waited that year was because it was a really special gift (he sold his childhood guitar to pay for my engagement ring and I found the new owner and bought it back a few years later for him.) This year I got him a bass guitar and I gave it to him last week. I'm HORRIBLE at keeping secrets when it comes to giving gifts. I just get too excited.
Oh my gosh! You're so funny! And that guitar was an amazing gift. How thoughtful:)
This is going to be weird but my Hubs LOVES to cook and wants this turkey fryer thing from amazon. I put it in my cart the other day, hopefully it's still there.
My birthday is Christmas Eve and I always get a DVD, per request.
Thanks! It was super emotional for both of us because we met doing music. We were both hired by a local musician to perform on his cd- I sang and DH played his guitar. It meant a lot to both of us and I didn't know he'd sold it until after it was done and he had my ring. It took a little while to be able to afford to get it back but it was so worth it! I wrapped up his guitar picks with a riddle and after he assumed I'd bought him a different guitar, I brought out his. He started bawling. I'll never be able to top that Christmas.
This reminds me, DH wants a new rescue knife! He already has one, but wants one with a seatbelt ripper and can smash out car windows or something...He's a paramedic, so he thinks it's necessary:)
Not weird at all! I wish my DH liked to cook! Oh, and I can't believe I didn't say happy 1 month to Walker yet!! Happy birthday kiddo, thinking about you everyday:)
I have NO clue what I am getting Bry this year. I better start thinkin' fast. This year we are filling our advent calendar up for each other. He fills the odd days for me, I fill the evens for him. Our 1 year anniversary falls on the 9th. I can't wait to open that box!!

We usually wait until Christmas, but there's been a couple of times when we've bought each other winter gear (new coat, boots) and ended up giving them early because they were needed before the end of december.
This year I got h a kindle touch, I am so excited to give it to him because it's not available in Canada yet and I got one with the help of a coworker who went to PA for thanksgiving last week. He has been mentioning wanting an e-reader for sometime, but didn't want the kobo and didn't want the regular kindle when he knew there was a touch screen out there but couldn't get it yet. I'm also getting him a PS3 game he wants, and will probably also pick up some socks (we always give each other nice socks) and maybe a wallet from dd unless she finds something she wants to get him more.

I am always like that too!! I can never wait to give DH his birthday presents, but I'm usually okay with Christmas bc I have so much to wrap for everyone.
This year, our Verizon contract is up right before Christmas, and we are switching carriers. So, we are buying eachother the new iPhone from AT&T. We figure we would normally spend about $150 on eachother for Christmas, and we'd spend $50 - $75 on new phones, so $200 for sweet phones is worth it. I also went shopping on Black Friday and got some gifts to "pad the tree" for DH b/c we'll be getting our phones 5 days before Christmas. I got him some t-shirts with funny sayings on them for like $5 at JcPenny, and I got him a waffle maker (only $10 at Kohl's) b/c he was SO SAD on Thanksgiving that we didn't have one.
DH is getting a shotgun (by request). That's his big gift. I'm also getting him a few other things.
I know one gift that he got me b/c I asked for something from a particular store, and since I'm the one that deals with paying bills, I saw online where he bought something from that store. Not sure what else he is getting me...my birthday and Christmas are 3 weeks apart, so this is an expensive time of year for us.
We do joint gifts most years, and this year we bought a Keurig.
I'll put some new slippers, a variety of k-cups and some candy in his stocking though.
