Positive opk question

Hey ladies. Just wondering how many of you never get a positive opk where the test line is darker than the control line. Yesterday my test line was definitely as dark as the control but this morning it's lighter again. I'm wondering if yesterday was my positive. I'm temping religiously so I know I need to wait for my shift but I would love some peace of mind while I'm waiting!

When it is close I count it as positive. I find it most helpful to compare to my usual test since there is always a line there. When it is significantly darker than normal it is positive, I dont think mine are ever darker than the control, just pretty close.

As dark is +. It doesn't need to be darker.
Just as a side note, it is very easy to miss your surge, you should really try to test twice per day to try and make sure you can catch it.
This was my first month using OPKs regularly. Here are a couple of things that I noticed (for me anyway...I know everyone is different)
I had a line that wasn't quite as dark as the control line for 2 days and then on the 3rd day, I had a definitive positive.
I had a positive 2 mornings in a row but when I tested in the evening on the same day, I had a negative. It only really worked for me with FMU.

what kind are you using?
I got the Wondfo cheapies from amazon and have been testing 2x a day for the past 2 cycles and have never seen the line get as dark as the control. This cycle I splurged for the ClearBlue Digital OPK's at CVS, and since they only give you 7 I've been testing mostly with the Wondfos and only once a day with the CB digital.
Today was the first day I ever got the smiley face on the digital, but when I tested with Wondfo, the line still wasnt as dark. I feel like the cheapies don't work as well or maybe I drink too much water and they are not sensitive enough. I am eager to test again tomw to see what happens, bcs I know I am in the O zone and curious as to why Wondfo isnt picking it up...
