I take the Target brand gummies at night before bed and haven't had any problems on them. They don't taste terrible either. Kinda like those orange gummy slices you can get from the convenience store...

Walgreens has a chewable prenatal called Belly Bar that I found to be really easy on the stomach. It has all of the recommended vitamins and the correct amounts of them too. I could take them at any time during the day, with or without food, and I felt good.
it could be the Iron in them. I took a multi vitamin in the am before meals.I got nauseated. Now I take them with food and it is much better. I also get the gummies.
I also take the Target Gummies before I go to sleep every night. I have never felt sick and I keep them next to my bed so I don't forget to take them before going to sleep.
When the time comes for me to go to my first appointment, I'm sure the doc will let me know if I need anything else from the prenatals. I was recommended the target gummies when I mentioned to my obgyn that we were TTC.

I take Target prenatals just before I go to bed at night.
I used to do this when I was taking the One A Day prenatals (they made me so sick if I took them in the morning). Now I take the VitaFusion gummie prenatals. They are awesome! I can take them whenever without getting sick. GL!

I have that problem if I take them on an empty stomach anytime throughout the day (even with regular vitamins). My iron runs on the low side so I didn't want to sacrifice the iron by taking the gummies. I just make sure I always take them with a meal and I haven't had any problems.
I told my OB/GYN that we were starting to try and she said to start taking prenatals. Ok, no problem there.
But I took it this morning and I am so nauseated. Anyone else have that side affect???
I am taking them also. And when I told my mom she said "Do not take them on an empty stomach!!" So when I started taking them, I did it with breakfast, and then on Thanksgiving I skipped breakfast and took them before we left for dinner. It was an hour and a half until we got to eat and I was on the verge of vomiting the entire time!! Lesson learned lol
I got a prescription and don't know why I didn't think of taking them at night. It says to take them an hour before you eat, or 3-4 hours after. My doctor said I could take them with food if it bothered me. Mine come with a DHA capsule which gives me fishy burps. Ick.
Seksie! haha
Thanks ladies! Lesson learned- tomorrow I'll eat first )

My doctor prescribed me prenatal when I mentioned ttc even though I had already purchased some from my local grocery store. When I went to the pharmacy to pick up the prescription, along with another prescription, I asked the pharmacist if I should get the prescription or continue using the over-the-counter prenatals. She said that the only difference is the prescription has a higher level of folic acid but if I already bought the over-the-counter I could just supplement them with a folic acid vitamin. Since the 100 count of prenatals and the Folic acid vitamin were $6 together and a one month supply of prescription was $13 with insurance, I chose the over-the-counter.

I take Nature Made prenatals. I take them at night before I get into bed. That way I'm sleeping during the worst of the side effects.

You can also take two Flintstones vitamins (yes the kid's ones)!

My doctor told me to put the DHA capsules in the fridge. It helps with the fish taste some how.
