We turn it on when LO is fighting sleep. Sometimes it will be on whilel I give her her last bottle before bed. Or, now, we are working on her falling asleep on her own so we put her in her crib awake and turn on the seahorse and lay it on the other side of the crib to help her fall asleep. 90% of the time it works for us
DD still loves hers!! DS is getting his for Christmas from grandma. We have used DD's since she was about 4 months old and now that she is older we leave it in the crib and if she wakes up during the night she will turn it on and put herself back to sleep. It is her bed/nap time BFF!

I use DS's when I lay him in his crib for a nap. I just started trying to put him in his crib to transition, and the glow horse helps. The only problem is, once it turns off, he tends to wake up. I put a sound machine on his Christmas list, so I'm hoping he'll get that and it will work better! But he does love his sea horse : )

I've used it twice now during her naps and I think it's helping for sure! She's not waking up when I set her down as long as that thing is still on. She seems to wake up shortly after it stops though. Will keep trying. Thanks for your input!!
