Did you ever go through the process of returning your iPod? I started a claim the day you mentioned it on here, but have yet to receive a box (which I hear could take a while). Over the weekend, my iPod up and died on me (like Zap! dead). I know I wasn't supposed to be using it, but couldn't help myself. Now I'm debating on waiting for the replacement or just sucking it up and getting a new Nano. What have you decided to do?

    Oh no!  I have not received the packaging yet to send it back.  I thought that they said that it may take a few weeks.  I have been using mine too :).  Hmm...if mine blew up, I might decide to go for the upgrade.....I will keep you posted.

    The more I've been thinking about it, I may get the replacement and give it to DH, then get a new nano for me. I've already started asking for Apple giftcards :-). Don't expect any, but doesn't hurt to ask.
