Watching DD talk to her stuffed animals is so cute!
I took out our Bumbo seats for the babies today. They aren't quite ready for them so I told DD1 she could play with them. She loves putting her dolls and stuffed animals in the babies' bouncy seats, play mat, etc. I was in the kitchen this afternoon and DD was nearby playing. She had her Minnie Mouse doll in one Bumbo seat and her sock monkey in the other. Sock Monkey was having a hard time sitting in the seat, he was all slouched over to the side. Well, DD said something along the lines of "Sock Monkey, Minnie Mouse sitting in her seat like a big girl. What about you? Sit up straight." I looked over at her and she was sitting him up better in his seat and then she said "There you go. You big boy now." Then she laughed the cutest little laugh. When I catch her doing stuff like that, it just melts my heart. Also, when she and I have a full on convdersation, I just can't believe what a big girl she is.
