Infertility Test Turned Into Positive Pregnancy Test!

Last Monday I visited my OB to begin infertility testing since we had been TTC for 1 year. She ordered blood tests, scheduled an HSG x-ray, and ordered sperm testing for my DH. Since I was going to have an x-ray I needed to make sure I wasn't pregnant. I told my OB I assumed my period was coming because my breasts were tender and I was tired of misinterpreting PMS symptoms for pregnancy so I was going to assume it is always PMS. I asked to do a blood test for pregnancy since I was already having blood tests anyway.

I went to work happy that we were starting the next steps to see what was going on with us and was mentally prepared for anything we would need to do. At the end of the work day, I got a phone call from the clinic - my pregnancy test was positive!!!!

I can't believe we were so blessed to make a total 180 - going to start the infertility testing and then finding out we were pregnant!!! Since it was based on a blood test, I'm feeling pretty confident and it looks like our due date will be August 4, 2012!! Smile
