So, I'm a little tired of Candyland and started looking around on gaming websites, like boardgamegeek. Check out this little kid doing a review of the game Villa Paletti

It's like Jenga, I guess, so not really a board game but this is definitely on my list to get DS. This kid does a bunch of other reviews -- he is adorable.
We're also going to get Dancing Eggs, Poo: The Card Game and Sleeping Queens.
Re: If you are looking for different board games for your kids
That looks like fun!!
I don't know of you're asking for suggestions but Qwirkle is a fun game also.
that's on my list!
If you're taking suggestions, these were all on my list of ideas for ds this year:
Rat-a-tat Cat (had it on my wishlist but found an unopened game at Goodwill for $1 so I went ahead and gave it to him, he LOVES it.)
Rush Hour Jr.
Scrambled States
No-Stress Chess (got this last year, I seriously thought chess was way too difficult for little kid but ds and several of his friends picked it up VERY quickly from this set, it's pretty amazing.)
I've also been eying Settlers of Catan, but I'm thinking that can wait a year or two.

This one's fun and they can play it without me!
