Empiremom and others interested! Sugar cookie recipe :)

2 sticks of butter
1 cup of sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 cup Sour Cream
Combine butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Mis dry ingredients.
Add Sour Cream to wet mixture.
Chill 3-4 hours
Bake at 375 for 8-10 min.
Frosting:
3/4 c. Butter
3/4 c. Crisco Shortening
1 1/2 tsp vanilla- (double this)
7 c. Powdered sugar
5 tablespoons of milk
Cream butter and shortening. Add vanilla. Add powdered sugar 1 cup at a time, alternating with milk.
Sometimes you have to add more milk 1 TBSP at a time.
