If I were to buy Wondfos...

I saw a long list of options to buy Wondfos on Amazon.com.  I do not want the pregnancy tests. I would rather pee on a digital for that.  That being said, should I buy the 25 ct or 50 ct ovulation strips?

Also, with the Wondfos, do you pee first thing in the morning or later in the day? If it is later in the day, do you hold the pee for 3-4 hours? I did that and I hated that.

    It's all really personal preference. I buy them in lots of 50, but I used to test 3x a day, now I'm down to 2x a day. I also test in and out of my surge to make sure I really caught it, so on average I will use anywhere from 10-12 tests a month. For me it just made more sense to buy them in bigger lots to avoid having to buy some every other month.

    As for testing, I do it with FMU and in the evening around 8 pm. Normally my +'s don't happen until evening so if I didn't test in the evening I would have missed it. I don't always hold my pee for 3-4 hours, but I do try to minimize intake as much as possible.

    For the OPKs, it's up to you.  I tend to buy in groups of 50 because they're so cheap.  I figure if I only need a few of them, great, and I will pass them on to another TTC person I know.

    To catch the LP surge, I tend to POAS twice a day--once with FMU, once after work.  I've never held it intentionally and have been able to get clear +s most cycles.

    Thanks ladies! I thought the 50 was a better choice too.

    I personally buy 100 at a time. I'd probably buy 50, just so you wont feel bad peeing on them a lot. 

    Wondfos are like any other OPK, you're supposed to use them in the afternoon. That's when your LH surge will normally be.

    I use my wondfos with FMU {when I remember}, and when the line starts getting darker... I basically use them every time I pee. That's why I love how cheap they are!
