It sounds like a porn star name. I believe there is one named Chasey Laine. Porn associations aside, I also could not see that name on a grown woman.

I like Laine. But I personally don't like the C sound in Macie. I don't like too many C sounds for some reason. But that's just me.

I went to Maces Lane Middle School so my first reaction was that it is a street name. Taking my personal connection out of the picture, I don't think it will age well.
