so we met up with DH's family in New Orleans this weekend-- super fun. But MIL got super drunk at Pat O'Brien's and shared that she and DH's dad were frequenters of swinger's clubs. AND that his youngest sister was conceived at one! 
How do I see this woman without dying laughing?

Right?? Maybe it's time for some covert hair or toothbrush DNA testing! She didn't share "how" she knew littlest sister was full on but she said she did. I didn't ask. Poor DH he just shakes his head and doesn't know what to do. Oh MIL you do entertain me-- and the board.

I can't even imagine! How'd your DH take it? That would have to be rough to hear your mom say from out of nowhere, especially the bit about his sister.
OMG! I would D.I.E!!!!! if my MIL ever told me that!!! I don't know how you kept it together.
Once, my MIL told me that she's often not interested in sex when her husband is and she just tells him "pull my nightgown down when you're done, honey" I almost vomited and jumped out of the car, but your story is SO much worse!!
DYING. I can't even imagine hearing this. Let alone while drunk. Poor SIL!
I'm pretty sure you win IL story of the year. That's crazy! Did your DH and his sis already know this?

I have been told a (not-similar) story with eerily weird truths about the possibility of my sister only being a half sister. Since it was after my mother was deceased, I dropped it. If your MIL doesn't want to tell her, then she needs to shut her trap and move on. I definitely wouldn't get involved in that one.

This post led to a funny conversation between DH and I about which of our siblings was most likely conceived during a swingers meeting
I should note that none of our parents have ever admitted to being swingers, but we have odd siblings and often talk about them coming from other 'fathers'. We have a weird sense of humor...that's why DH and I are MFEO.
I'd still take your MIL over mine any day of the year!

nope SIL and her brand new husband were not there... thankful for small favors. We'll just keep this one between us.
MIL is certainly an entertaining drunk. I wasn't quite sure if she expected me to share back but I have nothing interesting to share about my extremely boring sex life.
