Forget how to search: dependent care and getting a tax ID
Someone remind me how to do the search on the austin babies site please?
I'm looking for the post on dependent child care credit and getting a tax ID. I've been just giving my mom a little money for watching the baby but I'd like to do it on the up and up and get my tax credit as well.

yes, it was thanks! But I'm a little confused. Do I have to withhold taxes? Or can I just pay her and she be responsible for the taxes herself? Is there any online resources on how to do it?
you don't have to withhold, that's optional :-)
I don't have resources to pass on. I went through learning all the nanny tax stuff it was back in 2008 and I guess I didn't save any links... But I'm guessing there must be something out there. I do remember I read a good bit of documentation on the IRS site... I'm happy to help if you have questions!
