Anyone else fear pregnancy right now?

I still have to squint my eyes or do some type of look between this Tongue Tied & this Indifferent when I see MoM's or 2u2's trying for another. lol. (I am not judging!! I'm just saying you are a lot stronger and more brave than I am right now!!) When DD was this age, I had baby fever, after the last 8 months, I cant imagine adding another baby to our crazy bunch(at least not for a LONG time!). I have Paragard so I should be safe, but that 1% sure does scare me a lot more than it used to. lol. I never though I would be terrified of getting pregnant.

Oh yes - I definitely fear pregnancy right now. But I would still like to have another one, someday...

Don't get me wrong I am more than happy for those that are expecting but there is NO way I ever want to be pregnant again!!! It is a little weird to have that door closed (well we haven't done anything permanent yet) for us after spending the last 3 years pregnant or trying to get pregnant, 3 is enough for us.

*Raises hand* As much as I want to have more children, I have to get through school yet. I've already been held back twice (once for failing a course, once because of hospital bedrest) and absolutely have to get my degree and a big girl job before we discuss having another baby. I think I might crawl into a hole and die if I got a positive pregnancy test!

Right there with you. I got pregnant with my twin girls when my first daughter was about the age they are now. Getting pregnant again is my worst nightmare. I am convinced I am going to be THAT woman who is 40, infertile, on birth control, whose husband has been snipped, who gets pregnant. It is very strange how much getting AF is a relief now, rather than making me dissolve into tears.

Yes it's been the first time in a long while in which I would be terrified of getting pregnant. I used to just rely on fertility awareness/natural family planning to avoid pregnancy, but I don't think I would trust in that now (especially while bfing). We got pregnant the first time that way when we weren't avoiding but not really trying.

Nope. DH had a vasectomy almost 2 years ago so the chances of me conceiving naturally are slim to almost none. We don't have money or space for another child, I wouldn't want to "try" right now even if we weren't finished building our family, but I wouldn't be upset in the least to find out that 1 little spermie slipped through. Not to sound like the Duggars, but I feel that all children are a blessing and if money were no object, had a maid, and had enough time for all of them, I'd love a huge family. I'm an "only child" (I have a 1/2 brother that's 11 that I haven't seen in 3 years and honestly don't ever plan on seeing, and a step-sis that I rarely see), DH only has 1 sibling (that never plans on having kids), so the only family our kids will have is one another.

I go back and forth. We won't even consider any more kids anytime soon. At least not until I'm done with college for good. By then I hit "advanced maternal age" and I already have risk factors for fraternals as it is.

I'm still kinda bitter over my horrible scary pregnancy and the NICU experience. I have really missed being pregnant lately. I can't tell if that's more because I actually want another child, or if I'm just dealing with some emotions because the girls' first birthday is coming up.

At any rate, we may be done, but we don't know yet. We're going to wait until I graduate and get into my new field before we decide anything. If I had to call it, I'm about 80% sure we're done.

Definitely. We're hoping to be ready when the babies turn 2. I definitely want one more, but I'm loving that I have a while before I have to think about it again!

Me! Freaking terrified! I'm so paranoid that I'm having the doc test me tomorrow morning just because I haven't been feeling well lately. I swear, if my tubal failed I am going to strangle the OB that did it.
