I feel guilty but ever since I found out I was pregnant I feel like I am slacking in the work area..I just can't focus and seem to not care as much...I try to make it look like I am really busy and interested in my work but all I do is daydream about the baby! Maybe I will focus more as the weeks go on but I don't think so..I constantly count down the months in my head up im out on maternity leave... anyone else slacking at work? Oh and 40 more minutes! ha

    I am totally slacking! Work is kind of slow right now anyway, so between boredom and baby I'm useless.

    I have also been slacking at work.  Part of it is I keep thinking about the baby and googling everything haha.  I also am more forgetful and much more tired.

    I can tell that I have been slacking, but work hasn't been that busy either.

    100% with you on this. The only thing that stops me from being completely lazy is the fact that I have to work on the desk/floor a lot so obviously I can't slack when I am doing that. But when I am in the back and on my computer, I'm researching everything for the baby, on this board, emailing friends & family baby related news, etc. LOL.

    For me work has either been crazy or dead, so on the dead days I'm lurking all over the web. I'm so excited for my a/s next week that my concentration is seriously lacking...oh, and now wanting to snack all the time is pretty distracting too.

    Me too! I'm a contract employee for a large software company and my contract is over on December 29 and then I'll probably just stay home. I'm going back to school in January too. I could care less about this stupid job and I feel guilty because there are so many people who are out of work who would give anything to have a job. And then there's me who counts minutes until I get to leave.

    Between TB and Amazon and Facebook - I'm lucky if I get anything done.
