If the visitation isn't court ordered you shouldn't be expected to wait around. Since I do not have a time clause in my temporary order I have to wait. He was 2 hours late last month so I went to the mall. He had to meet me where ever I was because I'm not waiting on him.
Min my final order I will have a 15 minute window and if he's late, visitation is forfeited.

How late is late? I would say give him fifteen minutes and then cancel the visit. That's ample time to wait. It will let him know that you and LO have a life as well and can't be waiting around for him everytime he has a scheduled visit.

It depends. If X is late he has always messaged me before hand. If he does that I'll totally wait. He has only been late for good reason or it has been less than 5 minutes (in which case I don't even mention it).
If he didn't message me I would wait for 15-20 minutes max then say he canceled by not showing up.
