IF you got stretchmarks, when did they show?

So far I'm lucky and nothing feels too tight. But I know there's a lot of growth to come, too! My SIL said hers (w di/di twins) didn't show until 6-7 months.

If you got them, when did they start showing? Were they white at first and then got colored, or did they show up colored?

I'm totally just curious, sorry if this is a weird question! Thanks

I just got my first one last week. It's red and really itchy! I've been covering my tummy with Bio Oil everynight in hopes it will help. I highly doubt it will make a big difference, but it does help a bit with the pupps itching.

I got a huge one right above my belly button around 30 weeks. It was just very shiny. Now that my stomach has shrunk, it is hardly noticable. It is a purplish color now, but much, much smaller.

Mine started to show around 28 weeks I think it was...I think they started under my belly button and then they expanded...lol

I believe my first one showed up at about 28 weeks and from then on they showed up sporadically -- maybe 10 total. They were purple and have faded a lot.

With my first DD, they showed up after delivery and were faint. With the twins, I got them around 34-35 weeks. My belly started to itch and they were faint again. After delivery, they were more red. They also were centered around my belly button and not down low.

Like one pp said, I got a big one above my belly button sometime around the 24 week mark. It also looks shiny. But also looks a little pink/red. I noticed last week (at 31 weeks) I am getting more red marks around the lower sides of my belly and it's been itching like crazy. I thought I would escape this twin pg without 'em, but no such luck. I had no stretch marks with DS but then again I am now bigger than I ever was with him. Sigh.

I'm hoping that once I have the twins the marks won't be very noticeable as another poster said.

I had a few show up around my belly button at 30 weeks and they spread from there. The stretch marks on my sides didn't show up until after birth though.

About 25 weeks, when I hit my HUGE growth spurt. My skin stretched so far it hurt. It felt like my whole belly was sub burned.

Hopefully you'll be one of the lucky ones and not get them!

Mine started at 11 weeks. Yup - 1st trimester. Started on my lower belly, and they were red.

This almost exactly; I think I was a few weeks behind you. I'm glad I'm not alone, I feel like I've had them the entire pregnancy.

I sprouted 2 around my belly button around 22 weeks. Bright red. They spread from their all over the front of my belly.

I got my side stretchmarks post partum.
