CD2...bummed out
This was my second cycle on Clomid 100mg days 5-9 and Ovidrel 250mcg trigger. I had three really good follies on my midcycle u/s. We BD'd exactly at the right times...and still a BFN and AF showed up yesterday.
I've been testing all along so knew they were negative and then I had to go to a baby shower on Friday night for my DH's cousin whom I have met maybe 3 times. It was at a party center and the whole stage was covered in gifts. The chairs had these beautiful white slipcovers on them tied with pretty yellow sashes. I walked in, saw all the beautiful baby stuff, and immediately lost it. Luckily I made it to the bathroom where my brother-in-law's GF comforted me without anyone else seeing. It was rough. One nice thing was that my DH had a dozen pink roses waiting for me when I got home from work that day. When I asked him why, he said, "Well because I know you're not pregnant and tonight will be hard for you". (he had seen the negative test in the trash can). I thought that was so sweet.
This cycle will be on 6th Clomid cycle which freaks me out. I've heard that you can only do a total of 6 cycles, but me RE's nurse told me that only the ovulatory cycles count. If I only count the ovulatory cycles on Clomid, this would only be my fourth. Does anyone have any advice on this?

Re: Clomid -- you might want to check the manufacturer's instructions; I know they address the topic of how many cycles in there. Maybe you'll get confirmation for your RE's POV.
