This child is exhausting

I'm really learning the importance of baby proofing this weekend. This baby is into EVERYTHING. Any unlocked cupboard, any shelf within reach, any scrap of fuzz on the ground and she's all over it--pulling dad's books off the shelf, trying to eat a chunk of loose grout from between the kitchen floor tiles, everything. NOTHING IS SAFE. I can't even start a load of laundry without having to drop the basket and run to keep her from killing herself.

    Everything.  It seems that i'm already overusing the word "no"

(Beta 19 Prog 13) -Ectopic Pg - (Beta 27, 67, 430, 850) - methotrexate shot & biopsy -Forced 3 month Break 1/4/10 - Uterine septum removed by Hysteroscopy 1/18/10 - Told I have inflammation in uterus. 6 weeks of antibiotics. 2/27/10 - Another confirmed ectopic. 2 shots of methotrexate after an ER visit. Currently doing acupuncture and trying to lose weight. TTC since 3/07 -

    Now that A is mobile I feel like I'm the only one who REALLY gets it. Example, I'm taking a nap upstairs and dh comes to wake me up...

    Me: "wheres A?"

    DH: "Oh downstairs playing"

    Me: "In her exersaucer?"

    DH: "Oh.. I guess I better get back down there"

    This has been my life for a month. :P We've installed baby gates, cabinet locks and are getting stair gates this week. I'm fried.

    Mine is merely scooting around on her bottom... but I get the gist of what you all are going through. Anything she can scoot on her little butt to, you better watch it.
