Let's talk baby shoes...
Hi Ladies,
I need some help. I'm completely clueless when it comes to what type of footwear is best for DS. He's not walking yet, but will be in the next 1-2 months I would guess.
So, if your LOs wear shoes @ this age, what types are best? Link or PIP would be fantastic.

The two things I look for is that they fit properly (at least one 'finger' of space at the toe when she stands, able to 'pinch' the inside) and that they have a non-skid, non-marking rubber sole. Also, cuteness.
At this point she has a pair of black mary janes and a pair of sneakers. We got both at Target, and I'd provide a link, but their site is acting janky because it's cyber monday. Santa is also going to bring her a pair of knock off uggs.
Cooper mostly wears shoes only when we leave the house. He is walking but not much in shoes. I love the Robeez, I got tons of compliments on them too. They are pretty pricey but worth it. I actually found a cute pair on ebay used for $7. They are super easy for them as they are learning to walk and my LO cannot get them off like other shoes that have velcro or are loose fitting.

Don't get something too heavy and make sure they won't rip them off.
I took JT to get fitted at Stride Rite - in addition to what PP mentioned, they suggest getting something that is bendable (not firm soles). He has a pair of Robeez, Timberland boots (thank you DH), and sneakers. I want to get a casual shoe for him next. The Robeez stay on best but if he'll be walking those are really soft soles and may not be the best for actual walking.

You will want anything with a flexible sole. For indoors, DD is still wearing the soft leather bottom shoes. We got hers at Carters.
