I just want GC's for facial's and massage's.I usually get a few from the inlaws. DH and I are buying a excercise bike for each other. I don't really need anything special.
I asked for a new hand mixer, some new serving dishes, and table cloth setting. I am starting to get a nice setting collected for my holiday settings for the future when I will be the one cooking the spread. (I plan on traveling this christmas, but after this all christmas holidays will be spent at our home for our daughters own traditions, but family is more than welcome to come.)
One of those pod holders for the keurig for my office
a gift cert for a pedicure
I already bought myself a sharper image foot massage from kohls the other day--- I hinted for him but knew he wasn't buying it. Now we can both enjoy it plus it was a good deal.
Seriously....that thing is a lifesaver! I got one last Christmas, but I want another one so I can use one on each hand.
Also, I would LOVE a mixer...I would bake so much more if I didn't have to knead dough by hand! I told hubby a mixer or a Nook Tablet would be awesome, but I actually don't think we can do either of them.
You know what ladies? This is sad. These are items we need--not anything luxurious for the most part (granted, some are but there are some simple wishes for sure).
This should prove to our hubbies and SO's that we truly are much more simple than they think we are. It's truly the small things in life.
What I would LOVE for Christmas too---- would be if my son could say "merry christmas"--- he has a severe speech delay/speech apraxia and so words are tough. Boy--that would be awesome! Or even for him to say "I love you". That's my true Christmas wish.
Jared wanted to have one of his friends build me a new laptop, and even though that's WAY cheaper than getting one in a store, it's more money than we have with him being a SAHD and working part-time, so I just asked if we could go to the running store in the Tri-Cities and I could get fitted for running shoes.
I'm getting an ipad. I've wanted one for a while, but they were too pricey. On Black Friday hubby said he was getting one for me on sale. That was really sweet
DH and I are purchasing a camera. We don't buy each other gifts. We choose instead to purchase a big ticket item for ourselves each year. Last year, we got a new TV. This year, we are going to get a new camera. Our current camera is fantastic however, our shutter speed is not fast by any means. With 2 girls, we are always missing great moments and smiles.

50mm 1.4f stop lens for my camera
And some GCs for some new clothes that fit my new post baby body. (If I get cash I almost never spend it on myself)
I asked for a Kindle and Amazon gift cards so I can purchase books.
I also asked DH to adopt another cat, but I don't foresee that happening.
Starbucks gift cards, candles, and Bare Escentuals eye shadows are always great gifts for me.
DD2: February 2014
This is what I've asked for: a purple ergo, a diaper sprayer, wool dryer balls, a new coat, and some random kitchen gadgets.
These are all things I will be buying myself if they don't show up under the tree.
