I'm flying with DD tomorrow morning and I know I can bring a bottle of formula to help with her ears on the plane. But can I bring it unmixed? Ideally, I'd like to bring a bottle filled with water and the formula separate and then mix if necessary. If DD isn't hungry she won't eat and chances are since our flight time isn't near feeding time she won't take the bottle. Or am i going to have to buy a bottle of water after security and go that route?
I have a bottle cooler, but DD is on Amoxicillin for an ear infection and I was planning on putting the medicine in it since it needs to remain cold.
Re: Another Flying question
I'm pretty sure they'll let you through with the water in the bottle. Just go through the line designated "Families". You can also check the FAA website for the exact rules.
I went through with breastmilk without a baby when I travelled for work.
I'd plan on buying a bottle of water after security. It's the safest bet knowing that you're definitely going to be able to do that and avoid the hassle of security, especially when so many people are traveling.
Does she take a pacifier? That might also help for take off and landings?
Someone's getting a little brother!
