I don't care what your view is on this show, watching Robin give birth to Solomon and all the family celebrating makes me so stinking excited to have my babies.

and then asking Meri if she could be her surrogate is too much... I don't think I would ever ask someone that...

I turned on bullets and dont know how to turn it off...but anyway:) I had to mute bc I didn't like to listen to all the moaning and groaning. And that Meri part was AWKWARD and out of the blue!

I actually cried. I thought the episode was great...Robin was a champ during labor (she made it look easy and painless). I actually expected Robin to ask Meri if she'd be Solomon's Godmother...wasn't expecting her to offer carrying Meri's and Kody's baby. The timing may have seemed ackward but I'm guessing that Robin was looking for a sign (since she had been praying aboutt it), and seeing Meri holding her baby made her realize it was what she wanted. I can't wait to see if Meri takes her up on the offer....

I don't watch the show regularly, but that's so sweet. Watching any birth story makes me straight out bawl now.

I don't know exactly why Meri hasn't had any more kids (I haven't seen any episode or even know if they really say why) but Robin was offering to be Meri's surrogate? Like right after the baby's born or just in the same episode? That's weird either way. Considering the set-up of the family, that would feel very odd to me, like it was still Robin's child that Meri would take care of (since they all take care of them all- or at least more when they were at the big house).

Meri has an infertility issue they never go into. She only had one other pregnancy other than her daughter that ended in miscarriage and she had a very difficult time getting pregnant. RIGHT after the baby was born Robin asked to be left alone with Meri and Meri was holding the new baby. Robin said I wanted to ask you this while you were good and emotional and said I want to let you know I would be willing to be your surrogate. It was just really weird. and Meri and Kody had talked about IVF and Meri didn't want to try it...

I find this show fascinating and usually catch it on demand during the week but actually somehow got my dh to watch it with me last night. I got very emotional too watching the birth scene ( and god do I wish I could stand labor pains like that!)..even my dh said ours will be here in 9 weeks I can't wait! ( I thought it was really cute he has been very cautious with this pregnancy after our loss).

While I think the timing of Robin's offer was a little off I believe it was very thoughtful. The show has never gone into what Meri's fert issues are but they have shown that it saddens her a lot. I hope she accepts Robin's invitation.

The woman had almost a 10 lb baby and barely made a sound! I wish we could all have easy births like that!

The timing may have been weird but I though it was super sweet and was crying through it all.
