smalltownmama - RE: late O

Forgive me if I told you any of this before. Have we talked about NaPro before?

Anyway if you O late and your LP is only 8-9 days on average this is a short LP. Has anyone done hormonal work up? Oing late and having a short luteal phase does not give your uterus lining enough time to prepare for a baby. And your lining may be starting to break down as a baby tries to implant. Late Oing is only ok if you have a normal LP which most doctors consider 10+ days to be normal.

If you have any questions about luteal phase defect, I'd be happy to try and answer them.

  • We have talked about NaPro :) However,  I do have a 12 day LP (occasionally 11 or 13 but almost always 12, so that should be ok).
