Re: Back Pain-Nervous :(

  • I've had back pain throughout this pregnancy. I freaked out when I felt it for the first time and other women confirmed it's normal as long as it isn't accompanied by heavy bleeding.

  • Thanks. It really is freaking me out because it comes and goes but when it comes it's bad. I can't wait to go to the Dr. tomorrow, if I can get an appointment. According to my LMP I should be 6 wks tomorrow which was around the time of my loss so if I make it through this week it'll ease some stress.

  • I've had lower back pain on and off since the beginning, my uterus was tilted also in the beginning and I think that made it worse since the pressure was pushing back and not forward.  Hopefully you are just having growing pains too, it's very normal!  You might want to prop a pillow or something behind your back when you are sitting and do some stretches for your back to help ease the pain.  Hope it gets better soon!  Oh...and take deep breaths...remember the mantra!

  • I had intense back pain with this pregnancy very early on so much more than I had with my loss or my dd.  It freaked me out completely but as you can see I am nearly 31 weeks so all is good so far...rest assure it is a normal side effect!

  • I had back pain from my BFP to about 6 1/2-7 weeks. It was pretty achey most of the time, and sometimes even had trouble sleeping. So far, everything's good. :) I hear some people just get lower back pain from all the hormonal changes.

  • I just got my BFP today but have had back pain for a few days. I agree with all the other pp it is normal in some women depending on anatomy/hormones. If it gets severe with cramping and/or blood then I'd phone the doc. Hope it eases for you soon!
