I'm making a blanket and a felt quiet book. She's also getting a new outfit and her big gift is an activity table. She is also getting a singamajig for her stocking and the traditional Christmas Eve pjs.
I feel like it's a lot. Especially since she'll get presents from other family members.
I've bought and put away a couple books, a fisher price cell phone, a stacking train toy from fisher price, an activity table and a giant giraffe pillow. (all but one from costco - have noooo control there). I don't think I'll end up giving them all. Probably just a couple and I'll keep the others away until we're bored on a rainy day.
B. Zany Zoo, rocking horse, and a knitted doll and outfit from Bla Bla.

A Poppin Friends from Amazon, a soft cloth dolly, a few new sippy cups and a Boon snack ball. She really needs very little since we have so much left over from Jack. We will probably bring out the Busy Zoo around that time.

Are we horrible parents? We're thinking about not getting her much of anything other than maybe an ornament to commemorate her first Christmas. We'll be at my parents', and I know they're going to shower her with presents, so I'm a little hesitant to buy more since there's nothing she needs or wants at this point and I'd feeling like we were buying something just to be buying something.

I am buying her some size 9 clothes because her size 6's are starting to get snug. That's pretty much all she gets from us because others will spoil her and she doesn't know otherwise.
pajamas, my pal violet, vtech activity table, and board books so far. Thinking about piggy paint, a push toy, the zany zoo activity cube, fisher price laugh and learn kitchen, and stacking cups. Part of me feels like I should wait and see what the grandparents get her, and then buy anything else I want after christmas.

Busy Zoo! Good call.
I was just going to say....
I went 'shopping' in an old toy bin from Charlie. The Skwish, the Lamaze toys, the rattles...they are flowing!
I bought a few girly things and some clothes, an elephant ball popper and another Haba toy. That's all she's gettin'

You're not horrible parents!
We're not getting Lydia much of anything either. We'll get her a First Christmas ornament, a toy, and convertible car seats (one for my vehicle, one for DH's), but that's it. I know that our families will get her gifts, and we have toys from when Layla was a baby, so there's no need to buy a bunch more.
Haven't picked which one, but one of those musical activity tables that starts off on the floor but later can have legs on it when she can stand. Leap Frog & Fisher price both make one.
Some stacking toys, 6-9 clothes, and a piggy bank.

I was looking at the B. Zany Zoo also! Target has the best price so far.
