AH. Help :)

proud single mommyproud single mommy
in 2nd Trimester
Okay, so I'm wanting to do something creative for my in laws.... I just started to talk to them & now they & my x are trying to begin to be in our (the baby & my) lives and so anyway..... They live in dallas & I want to send them something very special that they will keep forever since it is their first grandchild; telling them the sex of their granchild. It will be a christmas present since i will be finding out soon. PLEASE HELP. I kinda want the sonogram to be in it in some way. something that they can either wear, and something that says something cutee... I'm not sure what i even mean, but yes, HELP!! hahah. I'm no so creative.

    You want to send them something they can wear announcing the sex of your baby? That's a little odd.

    Why don't you send it in a cute picture frame. That way they can replace it with a picture of the baby after he or she arrives. The sonogram usually says something like "it's a girl!" or "it's a boy!" on it. If the tech doesn't do it just ask. You could also try to turn it in to an ornament for the tree.

    I went to customizedgirl.com and made my MIL a shirt saying "going to be a proud grandma to a grandson april 2012" with a clip art type picture.

    My MIL got us a cute Christmas ornament.  It is a frame for a sonogram picture.  It says something like "Our best Christmas present."  I think it was from Buy Buy Baby

    The ornaments at shutterfly.com are beautiful. They also make a great photo key chain. I love the picture mugs too. Why not look around on that site and see if anything stands out?
