I'm kind of freaking out :(

So from 5 1/2 weeks I have had horrid morning sickness. It lasted all day and I couldn't move from the bed and had to force food down my throat. Friday morning I woke up feeling a little nauseas but not as bad as normal, it wore off shortly after I had woke up. Then yesterday I felt fine throughout the day, except at dinner I got a little of a sour stomach when I tried to eat dinner. Today I feel fine also, not nauseas at all. I was taking it as a blessing to feel well, but then when I went pee there was a little bit of brownish mucas on the toilet paper. No symptoms, brown mucas which is normally how my period starts and if I was to have a period my period app says I should start this coming Tuesday. All I can think is did I have a missed miscarriage. When you have one of those does you next period come ontime? I'm seriously freaking out. :'(

    Brown indicates old blood.  Have you had sex recently?  It could be from that if you have.  Try not to worry.  Drink lots of water, put your feet up and rest.  If it turns to bright red and is accompanied with cramping then call your doc.  Hang in there, thinking of you!

    I'm having the same thing with the light brown discharge.  It isn't all the time just occasionally & started after a little "quality time" with the DH.  My doc says that it is just old blood and nothing to be alarmed about.  I will feel much better after I go for my 1st Dr. Appt tomorrow.  

    Try to keep your feet up and relax as much as possible.

    Thanks ladies. I'm trying to stay positive, just so scared. And hubby is gone out to sea so I can't even talk to him to express my worries, so the bump is all I got right now!

    I'm sorry I am sure it is really hard especially because your husband isn't around.  Hang in there, and keep us updated.

    Like someone else said, it's probably just old blood. I had it with my first pregnancy and again with the current one. I noticed it happened when I would do too much or around the time I would normally have my period. Hang it there!

    I know it must be hard to stay calm, but brown generally means old blood and harmless-- stay positive! :)

    A missed miscarriage is when you have no indication that the pregnancy has stopped --- no bleeding, cramping, etc. You usually have a routine ultrasound and discover that the baby just stopped growing. 

    A natural miscarriage is what you're thinking of. You cramp and bleed and pass the baby on your own.  I had a natural m/c in August. My symptoms had disappeared, I started off the morning with brown mucus, and by late afternoon was bleeding and cramping in the worst way.

    You'll know if you're having a natural m/c. It's so much more than brown spotting. Rest up, stay hydrated, and try not to worry. What you're experiencing is very common.
