Hemorrhoids with no pushing?

I apologize if this has been addressed before!

I'm 11 days post-c/s, and yesterday I noticed what feels an awful lot like a hemorrhoid! I've heard of them happening with a c/s that comes after pushing, but I never even made it to transition before they whisked me off to the OR.

Has anyone else experienced hemorrhoids without pushing after their c/s? They seem pretty minor and the Tucks are my hero at the moment, I'm just curious if I'm a freak of nature or not.

Also, if  you did experience them, was there anything OTHER than the Tucks wipes that made you more comfortable?

    Honestly, I don't know what was going on back there but it hurt like a mo fo and even made me bleed! Could have been hemorrhoids though I'm not sure. I'm gonna ask my OB on Monday when I go in for my 6 week check up. I also didn't push at all. Perhaps it's just our hormones still regulating. I take stool softeners that seem to help.

    happened to me pp.  baths every night and stool softeners helped a lot!

    I never pushed with DD1 (unplanned c/s) and still got one.  I think it was from me tightening up during contractions - before I got the epi, they were about 120 seconds long with a 10 second break. 

    I didn't have any with DD2, but have already had a couple this pregnancy.

    I use the prep H wipes, as that was what we had at home (then and now).

    I had them way worse after my c/s baby than after my VBAC baby. Crazy, huh? I guess I did more to prevent them during my pregnancy with #2. PPs have given great care tips. Hope you feel better soon!
