I have 4.....its hard haha and I'm only 3 weeks into it. Honestly if I didn't have a FULLY involved husband it wouldn't be do-able in my opinion! But I do think I could do 3 with less help!

I don't think it is hard at all but I started off with twins so maybe that is why! I am firm believer once you can handle two, you can handle anything!

I know I'm chiming in late, but I totally think it all depends on the children, activities, lifestyle, etc.
For us, having the 3rd and dealing with the baby stuff isn't that hard, but the logistics of 3 (in my opinion....) is very hard.
I work part-time and my DH works full time (with very long hours). Our sitter's car cannot fit 3 seats in her car, so that is a real challenge. My mom can fit 3 in her car, but she has a big console in between her bucket seats in row 2, so getting someone in row 3 is difficult, etc.
DS1 and DS2 are very active, have lots of playdates, go to a lot of parties, etc. so the logistics of taking 3 kids places is hard. Also, you can't go grocery shopping or out that often with 3.....not because you can't but because in all honesty, I feel like the world is not made for families with 3+ kids.
We have A LOT of help. I could never do this without our families. My mom is here at least 3 times a week and my MIL is here whenever we need her.
Again, I don't think it is hard dealing with the 3rd.....it is just getting around that is hard

I don't think it is that hard. I have plenty of days that are very tough, but plenty where it is smooth sailing all day. I love having 3.
My husband is very hands-on (when he is home...) and we hire help.
