    DH gets home in about 2 hours from work, so hopefully he can fix it fast before 3pm.  I am half inclined to take the toilet plunger to it, but since I don't know what I am doing it will probably only make it worse.

    oh no! ihope you can get it fuxed. that actually happened to me one t-giving too.. we were washing the dishes after supper.. and the disposal broke so nothing would drain.
