How long does the gas last?

I had my c/s 2 weeks ago today, and as of yesterday, I've gone from only pooping once every 3 days to bad gas pains & almost diarrhea.  Is this normal?  Could it be all the Colace I was taking while constipated finally catching up to me? (I stopped taking it like 5 days ago!).  I'm trying to figure out if it's something I'm eating or not, as I've had to go on a dairy-free diet while BFing DD and I've been having tea with soy milk in it.  Never had a problem with soy milk before, but I never really used it much.....

    My tummy was all sorts of messed up afterwards!  I think I had issues for a month or so.  They moved around a lot of stuff in there and your insides were opened so your body needs to go back to normal. It could also be the colace, hormones, etc.  Give it some time!

    I had tummy troubles after my c/s and I did have a lot of painful gas. I know everything gets moved around in there. I never had diarrhea and I also took colace. If it doesn't get better you might want to put in a call to your doc just to ease your mind. Hope you get some relief soon!

    I had all sorts of issues PP. It took quite some time for everything to return to normal and for my insides to shift back into place. The gas I had issues with for the first 3-4 weeks after my c-section. If you do have concerns, it wouldn't hurt to put a call into your OB's office and run that by them.
