Follistim Day 1 : What to expect?

I can't believe it's time!  I start with Follistim (225iu) this AM, and Menopur + Follistim in the PM. 

I have no idea what to expect, so I'm just going to take it easy today and wear my yoga pants all day.

Did anyone feel anything after Day 1?

Me: 34 Him: 40 
Dx: Severe MFI (low count)
IVF #1 : BFN
IVF #2 : BFP
2 Snowbabies
It's a GIRL!

    You probably won't feel anything until after a couple days of stims. Good luck to you!!

    ~ More testing - hysteroscopy, endometrial biopsy & more b/w - all normal / negative~

    Surprise BFP while waiting on FET #3 ~ beta #1 500; beta #2 1600; first u/s 4/3 - measuring 5w5d, no hb yet!; 2nd u/s 4/10 - hb 132, measuring 6w6d - EDD 11.29.14 :)    **TEAM GREEN!**

    I only did 4 shots before I triggered, but I was pretty uncomfortable by day 2. At trigger I had 3 follies all on my right between 18 and 22. My e2 was in the 600's.

    I just started last night!! I woke up not feeling any different.. But we'll see if that continues. Sounds like we're on a similar path.. GL to you!! :)

    I'm in my 1st IVF cycle and last night was completion of 4 days of Follistim. The first three days were 300 units at night, then last night they increased the dose to 375 units. I am bloated, but not as much as I thought I would be. However, with that said, I haven't been in anything but yoga pants/warm up pants since Wednesday. You probably won't feel much until a few days in. Good luck!

    Tonight will be day 9 on lupron, menopur and follistim and I still don't feel any side effects other than some bloat and some aches and pains. GL!

    After 22 cycles and 4 failed IUIs, Serafina joined our family through IVF/ICSI, born 8.28.12
    Our surprise baby, Juliette, is due 12.8.14!

    Thanks!  That's very similar to my treatment plan.  I'm on Follistim for 4 days and then I have my 1st monitoring appointment on Tuesday.  I'll admit that I've been wearing yoga pants around the house since Thanksgiving.  Honestly they're just so comfortable.

    The first few days I didnt feel anything but by the end of the stims I was hot flashing and bloated.  The last cycle (3rd) I was extremely bloated and really uncomfortable, but it was because I had over-stimmed.

    DX: PCOS/Recurrent losses/MTHFR mutation (compound hetero)
    5 hysteroscopies/2 surgical
    3 Inject IUIs = 2 m/c's and 1 BFN
    IVF #1= BFP. m/c at 7w6d. Needed 2 D&C's and scar tissue removal. Mild OHSS
    IVF #2 = BFP. Severe OHSS. 4 Drainings. TWINS!
