Freaking out!

So, I need to just tell someone!

I am having all the symptoms that I had when I was pregnant with the twins and I don't feel like I am getting my period even though I am due tomorrow, so I decided to take a pregnancy test.  Well, it has the slightest positive line!  So, slight that if you don't look really close, you don't see it.  I have been on the pill and while DH and I are planning on having another kid, we were just going to wait a little longer considering the twins still need four hours of therapy a week and are not even walking yet.  I spoke to DH and he is going to stop on his way home and pick up a digital test because I can't get out with the three kids.  I am just freaking out that it may actually be positive.  I know a line is a line, but if you can't see it from far and only from up close- is that still a line?  I think I know the answer, but am freaking and just had to talk to someone!

Thanks for listening!

Re: Freaking out!

  • I just had the vaguest pink lines when I took my (three) pregnancy tests back in September. DH quoted all these statistics on false positives and all that jazz, so we weren't quite sure until a doctor confirmed. It's really hard to know, try to distract yourself while you're waiting for the digital test!

Sidenote: May I ask what your twins are in therapy for?

Thanks for the response.  The twins are in both PT and speech therapy.  They started PT when they were not crawling or sitting by themselves.  Now they are starting to walk along couches.  My older son is also getting speech.  Between all the therapies each week and both of us working, we are just busy.

  • I had a similar scare about 3-4 months ago......a few faint positives at home.  Then started bleeding and cramping.  Did a serum test the next day and was negative.

Good luck no matter what happens....you'll make it work!

OMG Royal!  Emerson is in speech and we have Landry in PT for hopotonia until she starts walking.   I'm saying a line is a line.  Eep!

I have to agree though a line is a line...keep us posted as to what the digital says! I had a friend that got pregnant on the BC pill so it does happen. :)
