Can you read either in bed with the lights out?
Any reasons to get one over the other? My DH reads before bed but he reads really random sci fi/zombie/post apocolyptic books (haha!) so maybe the books he would normally read aren't available digitally?
Re: kindle/nook ?s
I have the Kindle and DH bought me a reading light so I could read at night while nursing Audrey. It works great!
I can't find the exact one on Amazon for some reason, but it clips right on the side of my Kindle and comes on when I turn the Kindle on, and goes off when I turn it off. I love my Kindle.
the holder/case i have for my kindle has a spot to slide a light into it, and the light is bendy so you can adjust it. it also has two light settings- high and low.
my case is the a-frame kind not the book kind so it stands up, depending how i lay in bed i can stand it up on my chest and read
The Nook Color can be read in the dark without a light because it's an LCD screen. The basic Nook is e-ink, which requires a light. I bought one from B&N when I got my Nook last year. It's just a clip-on LED.
You'd be surprised as to what's available in ebook form. Best thing to do would be to check for the books DH typically reads at both sites to see if they're available.
I have a kindle and love it, I've had it for a few years now. You can't read it in the dark, but there's all kinds of lights you can buy for it, so you can do so.
I chose Kindle because I loveeeeee Amazon.
