I got to a late Black Friday start this year (11am) oppose to my usual 4 - 5am run. But I was still about to snag some deals with DD along side (if it was not for her I would still be in the mall, so glad she was around). LOL
Janie and Jack ($630 worth of clothes for only $240), Disney Store ($75 worth of dolls and pjs for only $40) and JCPenny ($137 worth of mens long johns for only $42).

It's family tradition for me. My mom introduced me to BF when I was a young girl and I've been going ever since. I also get a huge rush out of being in crowds of people trying to snag a great deal. My dh thinks I'm crazy, but I love it.

Ditto this. My mom and I always go together and have a blast. Last night was probably our craziest experience yet- DH and I are still in shock over some of the stuff we witnessed. We usually avoid Walmart but my mom wanted 2 computers and DH wanted Zelda. It wasn't too bad except that Sophie would NOT go to sleep before we left and I didn't feel comfortable leaving my dad alone with her AND Gavin so we had to take her along. She slept in her carseat in the snap n go the whole time but seriously there were a couple moments when I had to duck down an odd aisle to avoid the combat zone. I watched the mob take down one huge pallet of printers in about 3-4 seconds and the police had to actually use a portable siren to control them. I was soooo glad they handed out tickets for the computers so we didn't have to deal with that. All I wanted was a $9 vacuum and a $9 crockpot. I still don't understand why there weren't mobs for those things. Seriously people. $9!!! Oh and we definitely spotted some "Walmart People- Black Friday edition".
Re: BF shoppers
I went at 6:30AM to Kohls and it wasn't too bad. We even made the trip to Michaels, World Market, Pottery Barn, and BrandsMart. It was fun.
