Did anyone hear HB with Doppler @ 10wks?

My next appt is friday, and originally wasn't going to ask DH to come, but I dont want him to miss anything special. Maybe I'll call the office and ask.

I went to the ER at 10 weeks, 5 days and they were unable to find it on the doppler then with two different people looking for it (they were able to find it on a u/s however and baby was measuring accurately).

I would definitely have him go any way. You never know what they might do, and especially if they take blood, you'll need someone to drive you home. Also... we heard HB at 7 weeks, 6 days, so you never know. At least you should be able to see it beating.... that's always special.

We heard the hb with Doppler @ 9w5d.

We heard our on doppler at 9 weeks. DH plans on going to all of the appointments with me. I like having him there to be with me while I get all of the examinations and get blood drawn. It is also good for him to talk with the midwife and hear what she has to say as well.

I would check with your office if they are going to use the doppler - it's pretty early to hear it, though.

When I went for what was supposed to be my 12 week appointment, the OB couldn't hear the heartbeat with the doppler so he did an ultrasound instead. Baby was (surprise!) only 9.5 weeks along. I'm glad my husband was there to see the ultrasound!
