DD loves the Puffs too (we have nicknamed them baby-crack in our house). She also likes the little things that Gerber makes that look like cheeto's, the apple wagon wheels, and baby Mum-Mums Basically everything in the Gerber snack line she has tried (she isnt fond of the yogurt melts though).
We were given a Annabel Karnel (sp?) baby food grinder (you do it by hand) and at first I thought it was a total waste since it didn't puree things super fine when she was first starting solids, so I put it away and kinda forgot about it. Now, I've been just grinding up whatever we're eating and it is chunky enough that we can put it on the tray and she can pick it up. She's also decided that she's too big for 2nd foods and only wants 3rds, so we've been using that to grind up things and then add to the jars of 2nds.
*A trick a friend taught me about giving slippery foods as finger foods (most of the fruits), roll them in dry cereal or cheerio crumbs and it makes it easier for them to grab

Caroline's pretty much on all finger foods now. She'll eat fruits, veggies, beans, pasta, bread, meat, etc.
"Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies. God damn it, you've got to be kind."
