We are going to my parents' house. It's about two hours away, not looking forward to traffic. I'm making a pepperoni bread as an appetizer.

DD and I and probably BIL are heading to a good friends house - DH is on midnights and gets off Thurs am -- but has to go back in for some OT for black friday at 1800hrs.
We are going to my parents' house (about 45 minutes away from us). It should be a nice Thanksgiving since I don't have to see MIL this year. LOL
TTC #2, Operative hysteroscopy March 2011; IVF #1 long lupron protocol April 2011-cancelled due to poor response; IVF #2 flare protocol May 2011=hospitalization due to abdominal hemorrhage during ER and no fert due to MFI issues. Moving onto international adoption from Moldova January 2013!
We're staying here, MIL is cooking. I'm making a pecan pie.
Jenny-pepperoni bread sounds fantastic! Do you have a recipe?
Its really simple. Get pizza dough from your local super market or pizza parlor. I use a frozen kind that I leave out overnight to defrost. Sprinkle flour on your table, put the dough in the middle, then roll it out, making sure its wide enough to fold closed over the middle. Get a cookie sheet and put a little of olive oil on the bottom, then put the rolled out dough on the sheet. Down the middle of the dough, layer pepperoni (about half a pound sliced thin) and shredded mozzarella. Fold the sides and ends of the dough closed. Bake at 400 degrees until golden brown.

We're doing my parents' house for dinner #1 around 12:30-1 and then off to MH's parents for dinner #2 at 6. We have to leave by 8 so MH can get home and go to work from 10p-6a.

hmmm... eating food.
being thankful for relative who can play with our toddler and give much needed relaxon couch time.
NOT discussing black friday sales, except to laugh at people who get up at 3am. We as a family boycott black friday weekend.
