    6. Any family traditions that you do on Thanksgiving? What we did last year was made cinnamon rolls (out of the can!) and watched the parade in our jammies and I loved it-we plan to do it again tomorrow and have that be one of "our" things.

  • 1. Will you watch the parade? Not this year. I'll be running a race while it's going on.

    2. Where are you having your big meal?  DH's aunt's house

    3. Do you have to travel? Yes :-( I don't mind being there, just hate the travelling part.

    4. Favorite dish to eat: Mashed potatoes

    5. Do you have to cook or make anything? No, but I did make some cupcakes to bring for both his FIL's house and aunt's house.

    6. Any family traditions that you do on Thanksgiving? Not really. Since we travel every year, it's hard to have one. I may make this Turkey Trot thing a tradition, just be different places each year.

  • 1. Will you watch the parade? I'll probably have it on in the background while I clean.

    2. Where are you having your big meal? At home.

    3. Do you have to travel? Nope.

    4. Favorite dish to eat: Mashed potatoes

    5. Do you have to cook or make anything? I'm doing the salad and dessert. Abba is doing the sides and DW is doing the turkey and stuffing.

    6. Any family traditions that you do on Thanksgiving? The only tradition of recent is to spend the day with Abba.  Growing up I was always in charge of the cheese/salami/olive/cabbage turkey thingy.  I'll probably make DD do that someday ;-)

    3. Do you have to travel? Nope.

    4. Favorite dish to eat: Stuffing.

    5. Do you have to cook or make anything? It's only us tomorrow for dinner so I'm making it all - including a turkey only DH will eat, brussel sprouts I will eat by myself - hoping Claire will try something. My parents are in Florida for a couple more weeks and my sister has dinner with her in-laws.

    6. Any family traditions that you do on Thanksgiving? We may actually go to a movie and at night, after dinner, my sister and her family are coming over for dessert and a Christmas movie.  A new tradition!

  • 1. Will you watch the parade? On in the background most likely

    2. Where are you having your big meal? My dads.

    3. Do you have to travel? About 25 min.

    4. Favorite dish to eat: I like it all but look forward to munching on a wing!

    5. Do you have to cook or make anything? Nope, not a thing!

    6. Any family traditions that you do on Thanksgiving? No, but I need to come up with something! We used to have our Christmas lists due on Thanksgiving but we now just get a big gift (last year dh and I got a GC to the Aud, haven't used it yet as nothing fab was playing...it expires on 14 dec) and I think my step mom is already done shopping for the kids.

    Happy Thanksgiving! =)

  • 1. Will you watch the parade?  Possibly.... in between cooking

    2. Where are you having your big meal? Home

    3. Do you have to travel?  About 10 feet from the kitchen to the dining room.

    4. Favorite dish to eat:  Stuffing... hands down.

    5. Do you have to cook or make anything?  The whole she-bang, but I absolutely love cooking, so I don't mind at all.

    6. Any family traditions that you do on Thanksgiving?  DH's family has an annual "Turkey Bowl"... backyard football game.  His family is in Pittsburgh, though, so we will be missing it this year.  Kind of bummed, because it's always hilarious to watch!  Also, my BFF and I always get together for a super late desert then midnight black Friday shopping.  I always love getting to spend that time with her and we always make out pretty good on the deals.
