When did you go up in nipple size?

I was told that I should go from a Dr. Browns size 1 nipple to a size 2. My girls are a month and a couple days old. Is it time?

We never switched from Level 1 with our daughter.

Probably about 2 months. Whenever they started eating super slow is when we switched.

10 months and still using stage 1. They've used them so much they now flow like a Stage 2 (or more).

They will let you know when it's time. Feedings will take foreeeeever, they'll want to quit half way through, get super fidgety, etc. Ours switched to level 2 around 5 mos old. Every baby is different, though.

We're at level one and the girls are almost six months. I'm glad you asked this question! We've tried switching to level 2's off and on for over three months. They do OK with them, but seem to spit up a bit more and drink too fast and cough more...so we figured to go back to level 1 even though feedings do seem way too long sometimes!
