Clomid & Ovulating?

Hi ladies! I am on my 4th round of clomid 50mg, and i took it cd5-9. today was cd14, and my opk looks to be almost positive, and im having what i believe to be ovulation pains on my right side. in the past, i havent got a positive opk until the earliest - cd21.

its only been 5 days since my last clomid pill, so is it possible to ovulate before the "9 days after your last pill" rule? im not sure if maybe my miscarriage last month through everything off a little bit, and maybe thats why i could be ovulating earlier?

    I've done 2 rounds of 50mg clomid cd 3-7.  Both rounds I've ovulated on cd15.  I've been getting my first +opk on cd14.  Ovulation pains set in about cd11.  Without clomid I ovulate on cd22.

    Me: AMA w/RSD, atypical PCOS w/IR, LPD and High Prolactin. Controlled HP post-loss.

    It is definitely possible to ovulate before 9 days after your last pill. I was ready to trigger 5-6 days after my Clomid all three times. It all depends on how quickly the follicles mature.

    I have not heard the 9 day thing though...

    Started TTC 2/2009
    Started fertility treatments 11/2010
    Ovarian dysfunction, LPD, male factor
    6 failed medicated IUI's
    Pregnant 5/2011 - Miscarriage at 6 weeks due to triploidy
    Decided to adopt - 6/2012

    Decided to be "One and Done"

    ....OR NOT.
    Pregnant 12/2018 despite birth control pills
    Here we go again...

    I take Clomid 3-7 also and I usually O get a Positive on OPK's on Day 14-15 and I get O pains starting around day 12 just once and awhile through out the day then usually the day I O they are all day and are a bit stronger.

    I do clomid cycle days 5-9 and always get a positive OPK on cycle day 14-ish. So that sounds about perfectly right in my book.
