Thank you all for the T&Ps, positive vibes, etc. The advice I had received here really helped ease my fears and I felt quite emotionally prepared as a result. Surgery lasted about an hour and 15 minutes and I was quite pleased with the results. My pain is moderate, but tolerable.
They did find an empty sac in my right tube, which was removed (the sac, not the tube). Also, when my HSG was done (in July) my doctor said she wasn't 100% sure that my tube was partially blocked but suspected it was due to how slowly the dye filled. Good news though- there was no blockage! He didn't give much details to my family on this other than no blockage! They did find a fibroid in my uterus and removed this and performed the D&C as well.
I was not given restrictions to TTA, but we (my husband and doctor) decided waiting would be in our best interest until I get my RPL done and have the results. We will be discussing this at my post-op appointment on December 7.
This could be a post n'run as my pain medication is wearing off and I will be able to take some more in about 30-45 minutes, which I am guessing will make me sleepy again.
