Ultrasound dates baby behind 5 days
So my LMP was 10/2 and got a BFP on 10/26 (which made me like 3w3d pregnant) I went for my first US today and babe was only measuring 6w5d. The OB said not too worry but there is NO way I got a BFP when I was only 2 weeks pregnant. Makes me worry about viability...but there was a heartbeat. Oh the worries....

Well- You'd be shocked...
My LMP was 10/1 and I got my BFP on 10/26 too... here I am... almost 8 weeks along :-)
I had IVF so there is absolutely no guesswork or unknowns about when I conceived, but when I had my first ultrasound I measured 2 days behind for one baby and 5 days behind for the other. The doctor told me not to worry (so naturally I did anyway) and she was right. Now both little ones are measuring right on track.
Keep your chin up! Those early dating ultrasounds are not really all that accurate sometimes.
Thanks ladies. It's always good to hear that other people have the same concerns. Even though this is my 3rd baby, I still have the same worries and concerns as I did with my 1st little nugget!

Lurking, just wanted to give reassurance.
When i had my first u/s, by my lmp, I was 8 weeks pregnant. The baby was measuring less than 6.
I had to have another u/s at 10 weeks, my ob told me that at around 10 weeks, ultrasounds are more accurate at dating, and it would only be maybe a day off at that point.
